EKPATTA, EKPUTTA, ECPUTTA
A cotton cloth worn by Hindus round the upper part of the body. It is from two yards to three yards long and 54-in. wide. The dress called Doputta consists of two such pieces stitched together. Usually plain weave, in many qualities, both bleached and dyed.
